As a wildlife conservationist from Nairobi, I appreciated the peaceful isolation-the cabin offered a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. Equipped for self-catering, I was pleasantly surprised to find essentials like fresh bread, butter, and eggs, allowing me to whip up my breakfast each morning. Nothing quite beats a morning meal on the private deck, where I often found myself soaking in the sounds of chirping birds. After breakfast, I took long walks on the Woodley Trail, immersing myself in the lush surroundings. Although I initially expected a cooked breakfast from the hosts, the self-catered experience turned out to be refreshing. The cabin's interior is spacious, bright, and clean, complete with a small reading library-ideal for unwinding after a day of exploration. If you're seeking a getaway merged with nature's beauty and the comforts of home, this spot is worth considering.
